Puttaparthi’s peaceful pace…

Serenity rules in Puttaparthi. It is a few years since we have visited last and we have found that since Sai Baba’s passing the ashram and the town of Puttaparthi have become very quiet and peaceful. There is still plenty to see and do but it has a much more relaxed atmosphere.

Padma and I are staying in the ashram in a twin room. Although the rooms are a little jaded and faded neither of us is complaining about the $4 a night tariff! The ashram has been beautifully decorated for the festival of Dussehra with flags, banners and streamers.
