  1. This is a sweet and gorgeous piece, Lakshmi. =)
I read through your how-to post for the mala beads. Curious though why the count you have on the drawing is 6 – 13 – 21 then 7. Mine has a marker every 27 beads. Any significance on your count? Iโ€™ve always thought theyโ€™re evenly marked divisible by 9.

    • Actually Maia you are perfectly right ๐Ÿ™‚ I did the first mala that way because the instructions said so and one of my malas was configured that way but after your comment I looked at my other malas and they were the same as yours. I think as long as the whole number is divisible by 9 it is fine. Thank you so much for all your interest shown ~ Lakshmi x

      • Youโ€™re very welcome! You simply make your posts very interesting. Any suggestions where I can hook up to get the materials? Iโ€™m not certain when I can squeeze the time… but when the materials are in front of me, one can only hold for so long! ๐Ÿ™‚

      • If you go to your local craft shop you’ll find most of the things you need. There are also some amazing online beading stores to check out too ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope you do make a mala…it is a beautiful experience that I really recommend. Peace ~ Lakshmi x
