My creative friend Melissa has just completed an amazing wire sculpture for me. It has taken her a few months because of the intricate detail she used in this stunning piece.
It is of course a sculpture of my favourite bird ~ the peacock…India’s national bird. I just adore him. I’m sure you will agree he is a true work of art.
Beautiful creation !!!
Thank you ~ I’ll pass on your compliment to Melissa…
I love it!
Thanks Julianne…he is very regal 🙂
Gorgeous sculpture, gorgeous photos (loving the mural on the wall too!)
Thanks Michelle…I love the mural too ~ done by another old friend of mine…
Yes, it is a beauty, a work of art and dedication. Where are you going to put it? I would clear my furniture and have it sit on my wood floor that way I can walk around it:)
Funny you should say that…Rahul and I were just discussing whether to put outside or inside? We have decided on inside so we can look at it ALL the time 🙂
Its beautiful and so delicate!
Delicate and beautiful…thank you so much for your lovely comment.
Love it. What a wonderful talent to have.
I agree…to be so talented…what a gift 🙂
Amazing
Thank you so much for your lovely compliment. I will pass it on to Melissa 🙂
Thanks for sharing 🙂 you have some special and talented friends.
Friends/neighbours of mine have told me about a peacock who comes to their verandah each morning at 5am to start the day sitting on the handrail. I hope to go down one morning to meet this special and beautiful bird in person. Wishing you a gorgeous day. YC 😉
Thank you so much Yoga Cat…peacocks are such inquisitive creatures. My two are always checking out what I am doing during the day 🙂 I hope you get to meet your friend’s new visitor.
What a gift! I love that first photo where you put the sculpture in front of the painting. I had to look twice to check there wasn’t a coloured peacock inside the wire :). Gorgeous.
Thanks Sara…I am so delighted with him. Melissa is just so talented and a darling too 🙂 oh I just heard my peacock, Lloyd, teehaw good morning out in the garden while typing this to you…
oh, you have a real one? Say good morning to it from me 🙂
Yes I ave two…Lloyd and Missy…
Sorry…I have two 🙂
